Hey guys! Just a quick update: We made it to Switzerland and we awoke near the foot of the Matterhorn (who knew it was more than just a Disney thing :P). Holy cow, the Alps are freaking amazing!! We are chilling in Zermatt which is officially one of my favorite spots in all of the world thus far. Unfortunately it is also one of the most expensive (think of a ski town like Vail on steroids). We even saw some skiers coming down off the mountain last night when we were walking through town. Speaking of walking, we have been doing a lot of that and some limping thrown in for good measure. Dad's ankles swelled up last night for some reason, I'm battling shin splints, and the bumps and bruises keep on coming, but it's well, well worth it! I still can't believe we managed to get the whole crew here. Italy was phenominal even in the rain. The town where Scott lived is seriously the most quaint little walled town you will ever see. There will definitely be pictures posted the moment we get back.
